| On the 3rd of October, Eventive assured the logistics for the 1st edition of Webstock & Webstock Awards, events that took at the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel. Webstock is an unconference-style event, dedicated to bringing together the new Internet community for a face-to-face collaborative dialogue. This first edition wanted to mark an ultimate blogging and Web 2.0 meet-up, including conferences and workshops that focused on subjects like best practices, social media, advertising and communication, online start-ups etc. Webstock Awards is an annual event of the Romanian Internet & Blogosphere, in which a jury, composed of web specialists, vote to decide which web 2.0 website is the best - either overall or within a category. This first awarding edition had 33 winning projects, within 11 categories included in the competition. Webstock & Webstock Awards were organised by Evensys, a meeting and event planning company, with expertise in corporate meetings and events, business oriented services and assistance implementation. The company goal is to provide interactive, insightful information and analysis about issues facing businesses today in Romania as well as in Central & Eastern Europe. In addition, Evensys is the organizer of two networking clubs: Real Estate Investors' Society and Web-Club. |
